And now of course for this weeks "Animal Magic" Challenge you will know that our very generous sponsers are Veronica and Pedro of The Paper Shelter and they are offering a prize of $30.

But as always this is providing you have used one of their products on your card and even if you dont you will still receive 3 digi images of your own choice, and believe me when I tell you their products are extremely good value and just gorgeous so do please go and visit The Paper Shelter Website and see for yourself.

We wouldn't be here without you. Also the biggest of thank you to our two teams here at the Shelter. We wouldn't have come this far without any of you. You are each and everyone a piece of the success here at the Paper Shelter! And I have had the privilege to be here from the start with Shirley my partner in crime how to speak. It has been a blast to work with you over these (more than) two years now. I am ever so grateful for everything I am learning, seeing and get to take inspiration from. This is paradise! :) Cheers to the Paper Shelter and to  many more challenges to come!

And with this little speech of mine I welcome you to a new challenge here over at the Paper Shelter. Our them is of course! CELEBRATIONS! Make any creation you like; birthday, wedding, baptism etc but make sure we get to know what your celebration is, ok?

With all these happy thoughts I must now go along the sad line for a while. This is the last challenge with the B-team as it looks by now. I bid a sad good bye to my friends and teamies Bente, Angelique, Tracey M and not to forget Lucy who I have had guest designing for me for a record time of three months. I am ever so grateful for all the hard work you have put in to this challenge blog and to the Paper Shelter. You will all be missed big time. We have still a few hours left on the DT call, but it will not be easy to fill your spots. You are all brilliant designers, wonderful crafters and friends. I really hope that you will come and join us from time to time in our adventures here at the Paper Shelter. Once again, a big thank you to you all!

Oki, we need a winner from last weeks challenge while I'm busy wiping my tears away. Thanks to all of you that took part in last weeks challenge by the way.
The winner it is...
Number # 58 Mandy

Congratulations you have won three digis of your choice. Hope you will enjoy your winnings! Please contact the Paper Shelter by clicking the e-mail elf and he will take you straight to the Paper Shelter where Veronica and Pedro is waiting to help you out. Please write in the subject line Winner of challenge 99.

As this week is special to us we don't have our normal $30 gift certificate up for grabs or the three digis if you are playing with a different brand. This week we have not one, not two but five gift certificates worth $20 each. And do you know what the best part is? This is open to everyone, not only the ones that are playing with the Paper Shelter images. So for one week only, play with any brand you like and have a shot at one of the gift certificates.

Note that it has been some trouble with the internet connection for the Paper Shelter last week. Sometimes it's working, sometimes it goes dead. They don't ignore you, just can't get out on line.
We have all been there.

Now it's time for you to take a look at all the stunning creations made by my B-team, my B(est) team. Make sure to leave them some love.

Love n hugs
Marie

Design team call

Looking for our current challenge?
Scroll down and you'll find it

Hi dear fans of the Paper Shelter, friends and crafters! It's time for a new design team call here at the "Shelter". Our term is coming to and end and sadly a few of our members are leaving. So lucky for all of you out there we, we are looking for 8 new designers to join our teams.

The DT call will run from today, 10th of February till 20th of February. So you will have 10 days to apply to the team. One entry per applicants only. We will find our way around your blog. Also please write DT after your application. Last time there was a lot of you entering our challenges in the call and it took a lot of time to sort that out.

Note that we will not accept any stamped images
in our DT call.
We are a digital company and want to see what you can do with your digital images and papers. (It's not necessary to use digital papers in the call, only digital image). Of course we'll be looking at your creations with stamped images as well, but we want a short cut to the digital ones. LoL
You also need to be able to communicate in English as it's that language we use on the dt blog.

Our new term starts of 6th of March and will last for at least 6 months. If you are one of the chosen ones and make the team you are more than welcome to stay on the team after that as well. You are of course required to be able to start working with us right away. As the first challenge for the new B-team will start 6th of March. The A-team will have their first challenge 13th of March.

Any questions after you have read this post, just put them in the commenting box and we try to answers as soon as we can, ok?

What you need to do to apply to the team
  • As we are a digital company and work with digital images you need to use a digi for your application. It doesn't have to be new, and it doesn't even have to be a TPS image, but we do would love to see you use them.
  • Your colouring skills needs to be really good, and that is one of the main things we are looking for when we pick our new members.
  • Do show your style in your creation. We want to see your style of crafting being it vintage, CAS, colourful, pastels etc. You can apply with any kind of project you want to card, LO, altered project etc but it does have to have a digital image on it that you have coloured yourself.
  • Make sure there is come way we can get the hold of your e-mail address on your blog. Would hate not being able to contact you if you are one of the chosen ones. (We will not leave a comment telling you that you are one of the lucky ones).

This is what you need to be do regularly
for the Paper Shelter
  • Of course you need to be able to work with digital images as we are a digital company. We have both digital images and paper packs.
  • We feel that everyone that takes part in our challenges should get at least to comments from the team. So every second week we need you to do your commenting in time. (That means before the next challenge goes live). We do have a comment rota, two numbers for each and everyone of the team.
  • You need to post your card with a link to your blog in time on our design team blog, and on your own blog. (Yes, you do need to have a blog where you post regularly, at least once per week.) In time meaning at the latest Monday eve 1800 UK time. The challenges goes live Wednesday 0900 UK time.
  • The Paper Shelter does also provide pre coloured images so it would be nice if you would be able to use one of those every now and then as well.
  • If you of some reason isn't able to take part in one of our challenges, you have to tell your team leader in time.
  • If feeling like it, you are more than welcome to provide creations for both the A and B team. But you always need to take part in your "own" team's challenges.
  • Taking part in blog hops (we have at least one every year) and other adventures we might do here at the Shelter.
Benefits for our team members
  • As a starting point you'll get a very generous gift certificate so that you can purchanse the items you need to get you started your designs for the Paper Shelter.
  • You will receive all the new products that is produced during your time in the design team.
  • You get a whole bunch of new friends in our teams.
  • Help and inspiration from a whole bunch of lovely crafters.
  • We do have all our challenges up on the design team blog in plenty of time, so you know what you should be doing for coming challenges.

This is it! I hope I have covered what needs to be covered here. But if there is any questions at all, just ask. Nothing is to stupid to ask about. You don't have to have any DT experience before. Don't be shy, give it your best and try. We will only contact the ones who has made it to the team. The new teams will be presented the 27th of February here on the challenge blog.

We are looking forward to see your entries for our DT call, please tell your friends about the call on your blog, and please do take part in our look out for new members and friends.

Love and crafting hugs
Marie

Challenge 98 Alter something or a card with many folds

Ok that was a long title. Hi and welcome to a new challenge by the way. And this week it is a challenge, and looking at the few participants we had last week, that was also a challenge. Sorry that more of you didn't play along, but better chances for those who did to win. We'll get back to that later.

As said in the beginning, this week I do have a challenge for you. I hope that you will take the time to take part and maybe make a gift for Valentines day. We would love to see "something altered or a card with at least three folds this week". I thought it would be fun with something different this time and it was a challenge for many of us as well. But at least I found it to be a lot of fun and I hope you will too.

As always we have a gift voucher worth $30 up for grabs if you play with any Paper Shelter product. Playing with another brand will give you the chance to win three digis of your choice. Our winner of the week has played with a TPS image and is the lucky winner of the gift voucher worth $30.

Congratulations Nancy Hill!
You have made an adorable card. Hope you will enjoy your price and do come back and play with us again soon! Please click the e-mail elf to the left and he takes you to the Paper Shelter where Veronica is waiting to help sort out your winnings for you. Please put Winner challenge 97 in the subject line.

As of Sunday we'll be having a DT call here at the Paper Shelter. Don't be shy and come and apply for the team. We have some spots that needs to be filled for our next term starting 6th of March. No dt experience needed. Do come back on Sunday to find out more, it's when it all starts!

My team is a bit curtailed again, but the inspiration you find is amazing. I hope you leave the girls so love on their personal blogs, especially during this a tiny bit harder challenge. Also before I leave you for this time I want to wish my teamie Shari the very best. Due to some hard times she has decided to step down from the team right away. Shari has been with me for a long time and I sure will miss you a lot. You have been a rock! We will miss you dearly and I so hope that everything is going to be sorted out for you soon love.

Love n hugs
Marie and the B team gals (who are the best, love to you all!)
